Dr. Yugal Varandani is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine Unit – AOI . He did his MBBS from KAPV Government Medical College, Tiruchirapalli. He finished his DNB Orthopaedics from Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore.
He finished Fellowship in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine and Joint Preservation at SRM Institutes for Medical Science, Chennai . He finished his Computer Navigated Arthroplasty Fellowship at Lokmanya Hospital, Pune. He got trained in Complex And Revision Arthroplasty at SRM Institutes for Medical Science, Chennai. He finished Complex Limb Reconstruction and Ilizarov Deformity Correction fellowship at Center for Ilizarov Techniques, Akola.
He has given many paper and poster presentations in various national & international conferences. He has been faculty in various National & International Conferences & Webinars of Arthroscopy – Sports Medicine.
His special interests are Knee Ligament Surgeries, Shoulder Arthroscopy Surgeries (Frozen Shoulder, Rotator Cuff Tear, Shoulder Dislocations) , Joint Preservation Surgeries like High Tibial Osteotomies, Cartilage repair (Bone Marrow) & Patellofemoral Pathologies.
